The following rules apply:

1. Only Scubanaut members in good standing are eligible to participate.
2. Photos must have been taken by you. Photos taken by someone else, even someone under your direction, are not eligible.
3. All entries must be submitted in a digital format.
4. There are two categories: above water photos and underwater photos.
5. Above water photos must have been taken at a Scubanauts function (club meeting, a club trip, a club dive, a club party, etc.).
6. Underwater photos do not have to have been taken at a Scubanauts function. They can be from any dive or snorkeling expedition you ve taken during the eligible period.
7. You must be actually underwater to take a picture that qualifies for the underwater category. Photos of sea life under water in an aquarium taken from dry land outside of the aquarium windows, for example, do not qualify as "underwater photos". Such images would ruled to be "above water" photos.
8. There is a maximum of 5 entries per category per person per category.
9. Entries for a competion year must be taken between January 1st and December 31st of that year. Example: Entries for the 2022 competition must be taken between 1/1/2021 and 12/31/2021.
10. Entries for a competition year must be submitted by the date of the first Scubanauts meeting of the following year. Example: Entries for the 2022 competition must be submitted by January 11, 2023.
11. Each photo must be accompanied by the location and approximate date that it was taken.
