cam - Aquarius, an underwater laboratory, is located
at Conch Reef, 4 miles offshore in the Florida Keys National
Marine Sanctuary. The underwater laboratory
rests in a sand plain adjacent to deep coral reefs and
is currently home to a team of 6 people. The image is
refreshed every 15 seconds to a minute depending on activity
at the site and connection speeds. Transmission of images
and data from Aquarius is by a wireless network.

dedicated to the research, exploration,
documentation, and preservation of submerged cultural resources.
This has some very nice articles on and pictures of shipwrecks,
including a special section on shipwrecks in Florida waters.
Alert Network - Divers Alert Network (DAN) is a non-profit
medical and research organization dedicated to the safety
health of recreational scuba divers and associated with
Duke University Medical Center (DUMC). DAN is supportedby
the largest association of recreational divers in the
world. Among other things, DAN provides inexpensive insurance
to cover you if you ever have virtually any kind of dive-related
accident. If you dive, you should be a member of DAN!

is a non-profit volunteer organization using research

is one of the largest and most frequently used data
archives maintained by the NODC. This database holds
wind, wave, and other marine data collected by the NOAA
