Alert Network - Divers Alert Network (DAN) is a non-profit
medical and research organization dedicated to the safety
health of recreational scuba divers and associated with
Duke University Medical Center (DUMC). DAN is supportedby
the largest association of recreational divers in the
world. Among other things, DAN provides inexpensive insurance
to cover you if you ever have virtually any kind of dive-related
accident. If you dive, you should be a member of DAN!
Research Team - The Jacksonville Reef Research Team
is a non-profit volunteer organization using research
diving to deploy, monitor, and enhance Artificial Reefs
off-shore Jacksonville. Originally begun by members
of, and affiliated with the Jacksonville Scubanauts,
it is now a completely separate organization. It is
the oldest volunteer-based underwater research team

Professional Association of Dive Instructors (PADI)
Home site of one of largest dive training agencies.
With 100,000 professional members operating in 175 countries
and territories, PADI Instructors are the most diverse
group of dive educators in the world.
